After a quick Google search, I am led to believe that the problem was much simpler - and they cannot produce the so called "defective" part.

Plan to be without your vehicle for a solid month with very little correspondence as to why.
I would give zero stars if that was an option.
My girlfriend was without a vehicle for almost 2 weeks for them to supposedly replace her evaporator core. She called several times and no-one would ever answer. She even drove by the shop (I should say got a ride) @ 1:00 pm on a Friday and the place was locked up with no-one around.
She was quoted $1,500 and 12 days later was invoiced almost $1,800.
