I love staying here whenever my husband has a marathon. People are super nice, and rates are amazing.
We've stayed here every year for the Dick Beardsley Marathon since 2015. They have a room with 3 queen beds that fits our family of 6 very well. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and they are willing to serve breakfast early for the marathon runners. When come to Detroit Lakes we know where to stay.
Changed our room from non smoking to smoking without our approval. The manager did his best to correct the situation. The room was clean though it definitely smelled of smoke.
